Percentage of a Number Calculator
What is X percent of Y, with the remainder alongside it.
Method
How it works
Enter a percentage and a number. Multiplying the number by the percentage divided by 100 gives the requested portion.
The remainder subtracts that portion from the original number. The decimal output shows the percentage divided by 100, while twice the result simply doubles the calculated portion.
